FREE US Open Tennis Bets
We missed out on Day 2 as Radek Stepanek gave his opponent a two set lead before starting to play. He had chances to take the match to a deciding set but Julien Benneteau finally sealed the win 6-4 in the fourth.
Today's sole bet - again not an easy day to really get stuck into the match betting - is on the Andy Murray match against Lukas Lacko. Bookmakers often make 3-0 scorelines much too short for hot favourites and although Murray will win this match (and he's 1/50 to do so) his opponent is more than capable of taking a set off the No.4 seed. As such a set betting interest on Murray 3-1 (9/2) is worth a small stake.
Elsewhere the action is tricky with a number of the big names being kept back by organisers for tomorrow and many of the remaining R1 ties offering very little interest indeed. Murray 3-1 is the best bet of the day.
