Sunday 31st October
Finals day in St. Petersburg, Montpellier and Vienna. We've got outright bets going in two of the three tournaments with Mikhail Youzhny (3/1) and Gael Monfils (5/1) offering us the chance of some more outright success for the year.
Next week we're off to Spain and Valencia for a World Tour 500 event. Some good names will be in action - Andy Murray, Robin Soderling, Nikolay Davydenko and Fernando Verdasco. You can get our online betting preview of this event by signing up now.
So make sure you're on board for all the action in Spain ... let's hope we go into the event on the back of another winning week!
There's no incentive to get involved with the action in St. Petersburg or Montpellier. Youzhny faces Mikhail Kukushkin for the second time in his career having beaten the Kazakhstan player 6-2 6-1 in Moscow last year.
Monfils plays Ljubicic in France trailing the Croat 2:4 on past meetings (0:3 on hard). He needs to play well today does the Frenchman.
In Vienna we have to fancy Jurgen Melzer to defend his title but we will have a bet on Kim Clijsters (5/6) to beat Caroline Wozniacki in the final of the WTA Tour Championships in Doha. These two girls met in the US Open last year when the Belgian girl won 7-5 6-3 and even though there is little between them on this week's play we still regard Clijsters as the better player in the big matches.
Saturday 30th October
We're down to the last four in each of the three ATP Tour events taking place this week. And we've had more than our fair share of shocks and surprises as well in the St. Petersburg Open, the BA Tennis Open and the Open Sud de France.
Some notable losses Davydenko, Gasquet, Cilic suggesting that the end of the season can't come soon enough for some players.
Anyway, next week we're off to Spain and Valencia for a World Tour 500 event. Some good names will be in action - Andy Murray, Robin Soderling, Nikolay Davydenko and Fernando Verdasco - so let's hope the formbook has more of a bearing on the play!
We're still hoping to make money in two of the three tournaments being played this week ... let's hope we have a good day today.
Mikhail Youzhny is our man in St. Petersburg, he plays Dmitry Tursunov in the SF's (1:1 past meetings). The other match is Kukushkin versus Marchenko. These two have met six times on the Challenge Tour and Kukushkin leads 4:2 (won last four).
In Montpellier we've got Gael Monfils playing Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (Tsonga leads 2:0) and Ivan Ljubicic plays Albert Montanes for the first time in the other SF. Finally, the Vienna semis are made up of Melzer/Almagro and Berrer/Haider-Maurer.
Friday 29th October
Next week we're off to Spain and Valencia for a World Tour 500. As we might expect for a tournament of this stature some pretty good names will be in action - Andy Murray, Robin Soderling, Nikolay Davydenko and Fernando Verdasco.
FREE ATP Tour Tennis Tips ... Every Day!
And a reminder from yesterday, for those of you who like to follow the form, we've got our updated records online of the 56 tournaments already played on the ATP Tour in 2010.
Well worth a look if you want to spot which players are winning, which seeds are doing well and what odds you could have got about this year's ATP winners.
Today we're going to advise Nikolay Davydenko (4/9) to end the run of Albert Montanes in Montpellier. The Russian is still a shadow of his former self after that wrist injury earlier in the year but he has more than enough class to end the Spaniard's challenge.
The rest of the matches, in fact like many this week, offer little real incentive to get involved. Some tough looking matches or those which could easily go either way (and off no value) ... and we can easily leave those well alone.
Thursday 28th October
Next week we're off to Spain and Valencia for a World Tour 500. As per usual we'll have all the outright betting action covered right here ... Also for those of you who like to follow the statistics, we've got our updated records online of the 56 tournaments already played on the ATP Tour in 2010. Well worth a look if you want to spot which players are winning, which seeds are winning and what kind of odds you could be getting about some of this year's ATP winners.
We have to back Paul-Henri Mathieu (1/1) to beat Benjamin Becker in St. Petersburg today. Frenchman Mathieu is a former world No.12, a proven tour winner and a former champion both indoors and in Russia. On the other hand, Becker is a journeyman pro who floats around the top 50-100 in the world on account of his steady, but not spectacular, play.
Mathieu has had a season curtailed by injury but as a result he comes here fresh and more than capable of winning (some firms have Mathieu as short as 8/11).
That's our main bet of the day as despite players like Nalbandian, Gasquet, Monfils and Baghdatis on show in Montpellier and Vienna there's no other matches which grab our attention.
Wednesday 27th October
For those of you who like to follow the form, we've got our updated records online of the 56 tournaments already played on the ATP Tour in 2010. We've also got our latest news story at the bottom of the page and there's a feature on Rafael Nadal as well posted on one of our affiliated sites. Go check them out!
We must say, we're not faced with the best possible opportunities today on the match betting - in any one of the three events taking place!
After some patchy form of late Nikolay Davydenko (1/2) to beat Mischa Zverev does look overpriced in Montpellier - but that's no price to shout from the rooftops and we've seen a couple of short pokes turned over already this week.
Trouble is, it's short-priced favourites all the way in St. Petersburg and a similar story in Vienna!! Weeks like this when we have to count down the days to the QF's when the matches start to get more competitive.
Tuesday 26th October
We're underway in what promises to be a big week of action on the ATP Tour. With 56 tournaments already done for the year another three are in play as the tour gradually works its way through the latter stages of its 2010 calendar.
There's the St. Petersburg Open in Russia, the BA Tennis Open in Austria and a new event, the Open Sud de France in Montpellier. Don't forget, we've got all the action covered right here in the outright betting markets. All you need to do is get involved!
We'll have our exclusive outright betting analysis for all these events and if you want to get our online betting advice then simply click on the link above to sign up.
In Vienna today we'll take James Blake (4/6) to defeat Lukasz Kubot.
The 30-year-old American is on the kind of terminal slide which most players suffer as their career slowly draws to a close - but he's not done with winning matches just yet! Provided he can get over a QF drubbing in Stockholm at the hands of Jarkko Nieminen (0-6 2-6) then his better indoor and hard court record can see Blake home.
This match aside it really is rather poor in terms of match betting opportunities, strange as we've got three tournaments underway this week. The main problem is the quality of the games which leaves betting interest, for now, still quite low.
We're back tomorrow with more free tennis tips. Enjoy your betting and do check out our latest news story below!
Monday 25th October
Big week of action on the ATP Tour.
There's the St. Petersburg Open in Russia, the BA Tennis Open in Austria and a new event, the Open Sud de France in Montpellier.
Don't forget, we've got all the action covered right here in the outright betting markets. All you need to do is get involved!

Another match bet winner yesterday as Roger Federer W1/1 against Florian Mayer with a 6-4 6-3 victory. His 64th tour title which ties the Swiss player with Pete Sampras. Incidentally, we backed Federer yesterday at a bigger price than his outright odds at the start of the week (just 5/6) ... so we came out ok in the end.
The match bet we'll have today is for Arnaud Clement (8/11) to beat the Spaniard Albert Montanes. He might be No.23 in the world but away from clay there seems little to fear from Montanes who is also 6:16 for his career when playing indoors. Clement is actually 2:0 in past meetings and it's always worth looking for French players when they're playing on home soil ... they always seem to do well.
Sunday 24th October
Another match bet winner for us yesterday as both Viktor Troicki and Marcos Baghdatis were winners in Moscow. The double W5/4 and now both players will meet in today's final. Over in Stockholm it's Roger Federer who plays Florian Mayer for the title.
Don't forget, starting tomorrow we've got a busy week lined up with no fewer than three tournaments scheduled on the ATP Tour.
There's the St. Petersburg Open in Russia, the BA Tennis Open in Austria and a new event, the Open Sud de France in Montpellier.
We'll have our exclusive outright betting analysis for all these events and if you want to get our online betting advice then simply click on the link above to sign up.
Very hard to see anything other than a comfortable Federer win in Sweden later today. The Swiss player is 2:0 against Mayer (one hard, one grass) and has won those matches 6-1 6-4 6-0 and 6-2 6-4. The German has never won a ATP Tour title, Federer has won 63 times ...
The game in Moscow is much harder to call. Baghdatis has the better profile but Troicki is a classic under-achiever who must start winning events soon enough. The Cypriot won their only previous meeting (Sydney 2010) and is probably the slight favourite but this one is simply too close to call.
Saturday 23rd October
Once we're done in Stockholm and Moscow we've got a busy week lined up with no fewer than three tournaments scheduled on the ATP Tour.
There's the St. Petersburg Open in Russia, the BA Tennis Open in Austria and a new event, the Open Sud de France in Montpellier.

With these tournaments in France, Austria and Russia you'll have a great chance to make a profit for just a small one-off payment.
A match bet winner for us yesterday as Denis Istomin W5/6 was a straight sets winner over Igor Kunitsyn. Today he faces the Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis in the SF's, whilst Viktor Troicki plays Pablo Cuevas.
Each match offers short prices for the favourites to win so we're only prepared to have a small win double on Baghdatis/Troicki (5/4) to make tomorrow's final. Both these players should just be good enough to get the job done.
No bet for us in Stockholm where Roger Federer plays Ivan Ljubicic and Florain Mayer faces Jarkko Nieminen. Neither SF has any great betting appeal as far as we're concerned.
Friday 22nd October
A quick reminder that it's a bumper week on the ATP Tour next week as we've got no fewer than three events starting on Monday.
There's the St. Petersburg Open in Russia, the BA Tennis Open in Austria and a new event, the Open Sud de France in Montpellier.
We'll be looking for more outright betting success in these events and if you want to get in on the action, make sure you sign up for membership today!
Just the one bet for us today and having seen Paul-Henri Mathieu fail to win yesterday (despite winning the first set 6-1) we're going to back his conqueror, Denis Istomin.
The 24-year-old who represents Uzbekistan has enjoyed his best ever year on tour and his win over the Frenchman - which we found out to our cost - highlights his improvement. He's beaten Igor Kunitsyn in 3 out of 4 meetings on the Challenger Tour (all hard) and he can repeat that once again today in their QF clash. Istomin (5/6) looks a fair price.
Elsewhere nothing appeals too much in the other Moscow QF's ... in what has been quite a tough event to call this week.
Thursday 21st October
A shock to see Nikolay Davydenko edged out in Moscow yesterday - on two tie-breaks against Pablo Cuevas. And with No.2 seed Mikhail Youzhny withdrawing with a viral infection the Kremlin Cup looks wide open, even at this early stage.
The big names still remain in the Stockholm Open over in Sweden where both main attractions - Roger Federer and Robin Soderling - are in action today.
We expect to back plenty more tennis winners before the season is out and if you want to get on these exclusive outright tennis bets then use the link above to sign up.
We won with Radek Stepanek W9/10 yesterday ... let's hope we can follow up today.
Although Denis Istomin is No.46 in the world and his opponent, Paul-Henri Mathieu is down at No.108, we're still expecting something of a shock today. It won't be a total surprise as the Frenchman is a former world No.12 and won in Moscow in 2002. Mathieu has struggled with form and fitness this year but might just catch Istomin - who has been playing well - at just past his best for the season. Paul-Henri Mathieu (5/4) is the bet.
This seems the best bet of the day in Russia whilst over in Sweden the best option in the Stockholm Open looks to be a wager on the 24-year-old German, Tobias Kamke (19/20) to defeat Ivan Dodig. Kamke appears to have the better form in 2010.
Wednesday 20th October
A couple of World Tour 250 events this week. We've got the Stockholm Open in Sweden along with the Kremlin Cup in Russia. Both decent events for this time of year - Federer, Soderling, Davydenko and Youzhny being the main attractions.

We collected on Radek Stepanek yesterday W8/15 as he beat the big Romanian, Victor Hanescu, in straight sets. Today we expect him to follow up that win against Mikhail Kukushkin.
The 22-year-old from Kazakhstan is certainly an improving talent but Radek Stepanek (9/10) is an experienced campaigner, good indoor performer and could prove too tough here today.
Not much else appeals today in either Sweden or Russia - and we're not going to advise something just for the sake of it - so we'll keep it to just the one bet.
Tuesday 19th October
This week we're at the Stockholm Open in Sweden as well as the Kremlin Cup in Russia. Pretty reasonable events for this time of the season with guys like Roger Federer, Robin Soderling, Nikolay Davydenko and Mikhail Youzhny all in action.

Radek Stepanek (8/15) should prove too good in Moscow's indoor conditions for Victor Hanescu. The Romanian has played once (on clay) since the US Open and Stepanek recently made the SF's in Tokyo ... if the Czech player is on form he has to be the winner here.
Two qualifiers also meet in R1 of the Kremlin Cup and we'll take home player Alex Kuznetsov (5/6) to defeat Victor Crivoi. We're into October and this is strangely Crivoi's first event on hard courts (all clay to this date) and the younger, improving Russian might just be able to take advantage of this and record a good win.

Also regular events in Vienna, St. Petersburg, Basel, Valencia and Montpellier - plenty of winners still to back before the season is out!
Murray leads Federer 7:5 on past meetings (all on hard courts) but it's interesting that of these matches four have been finals ... Federer winning three. Murray won their last meeting in Toronto 7-5 7-5 but Federer had won the three matches prior to that encounter.
Both players have looked in very good form this week and that should suggest a close game is on the cards ... strange that the bookies have it 8/15 Federer and 2/1 Murray. We simply must back Andy Murray (2/1) at that kind of a price. He's not phased by playing the former world No.1 and despite losing a few finals to Federer, two were in Slams (no disgrace there) and one was in 2005!

Hard to see anything other than an easy win for Andy Murray over Juan Monaco - a player who has never shown this level of form on a hard court before. Their only previous match on hard did got to three sets but in his current form this should be 2-0 to Murray - much too short at 2/5!
Federer/Djokovic is harder to predict. Federer has enjoyed an easy run this week (is Soderling really playing well at present?) whilst the Djoker is playing good tennis. A split stakes bet on either Federer 2-1 (10/3) or Djokovic 2-1 (7/2) looks the best way to play this one as the match could easily go the distance.
Friday 15th October
We said in our exclusive tournament preview that the vibes were all wrong this week for Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. Of course yesterday we saw the No.1 seed lose out, surprisingly some might say, to Jurgen Melzer. However, we knew all along that the Spaniard was running on empty this week.
As for Federer ... he hasn't lost yet but at least he gave us 7/2 winner with his 6-3 first set scoreline against Andreas Seppi. We don't mind if he sticks around as long as he keeps doing that!
Remember, after this week we've still got the Paris Masters, World Tour Finals and the final of the Davis Cup. Also regular events in Vienna, Moscow, Basel, Valencia and Montpellier (to name a few).

The only remaining QF to discuss today is Federer (again) playing the Swede Robin Soderling. It's 13:1 to Federer on past meetings and he bet Soderling 6-4 6-4 7-5 at the US Open last month.
Bizarrely in their past 14 meetings, Federer has won the first set 13 times and of those it's been 6-4 four times and 6-3 twice. We'll have a small bet on those stats for Federer to win the first set 6-4 or 6-3 as it just works out as being a shade of value.
Thursday 14th October
So far so good for the 'Big Four' of men's tennis in Shanghai. Each of Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have safely negotiated their first matches in China.
These four head the field going into the last 16 and it's possibly already looking a little ominous for the rest of the field.
Remember, after this week we've still got plenty of ATP Tour action to come - the Paris Masters, World Tour Finals and the final of the Davis Cup. Also regular events in Vienna, Moscow, Basel, Valencia and Montpellier (to name a few).
As you know, our online betting guides are posted in the Members Area of this website each week and they are also sent out via email. Sign up today and give yourself a chance to win with our professional tennis tips.
A correct score bet today. Roger Federer to win the first set against Andreas Seppi either 6-2 (9/2) or 6-3 (7/2). The pair have met six times in the past and the Swiss player has won every match, in straight sets. The Italian's form recently has been pretty poor and it should be another comfortable win for the No.3 seed.
Elsewhere not too much to report today. We should see all the remaining top players go through to the QF's tomorrow.

We won well again last week in Tokyo (Nadal W5/6, Monfils e/w 8/1) and expect to land a good few winners between now and the end of the season in December.
It's the Shanghai Masters in China this week - and you can still get on our bets for the event. So get on now!
We've expressed our concerns about Rafael Nadal's ability to win this week in our outright preview. This could be one tournament too far for the world No.1.
Today he faces Stanislas Wawrinka who he leads 6:0 on past meetings ... but the last couple of matches on hard courts have been competitive. Therefore, even if the Spaniard were to win (as the odds suggest) it could be closer than we might expect, over 20.5 games (4/6) is the call.

Those matches which have been priced up for tomorrow's schedule are pretty limited in terms of choice. The best bet looks to be the upcoming Dutch player Thiemo de Bakker (8/13) to beat Juan Monaco.
These guys are 1:1 on past meetings but De Bakker got the verdict last time they played (their one match on hard courts) in Cincinnati. It was a close one (6-3 in the third) but he looks a progressive talent and had a good R1 win over Fernando Verdasco.
Monday 11th October
It pays to be cautious at some of these end of season events, and the Masters Series is no different.
Players are coming to the end of a long season. Some have achieved their goals and have mentally switched off, others are suffering from fatigue or injury, some are simply over-played after a long campaign. Then there's a few who want to win, want to gain ranking points, maybe want to make the World Tour Finals.
In other words, it can be a tough time of the year to back winners and although we won last week (Nadal W5/6, Monfils e/w 8/1 in Tokyo) we know this week offers another test of our skills .. we love a challenge!
Our online betting guides are posted in the Members Area of this website and they are also sent out via email. Sign up today and give yourself a chance to win with our professional tennis tips.
Couple of bets for us today. Ernests Gulbis versus Richard Gasquet brings together two talented but erratic performers. Either could win this game but we fancy a three set match (13/10) as the best way to play this one. Both players are known for lacking a 'killer instinct' and this could easily go to a decider.
A more solid bet is Sam Querrey (1/2) to see of Michael Berrer. The tall American should come on for his run-out in Beijing last week.
Sunday 10th October
Another nice
profit for
us in the
Japan Open
as Rafael
Nadal W5/6
and we also
collected on
Gael
Monfils e/w
8/1.
Had the
Frenchman
won we would
have
collected a
bit more
profit but
it wasn't to
be as Nadal
won 6-1 7-5
to take his
7th ATP Tour
title of
2010.
It's now the
Shanghai
Masters
in China.
All the top
players will

- even Roger
Federer
makes a

With a

One
match
bet for
us to
get
proceedings
underway
in
Shanghai.
The
Swiss
player
Stanislas
Wawrinka
has had
a very
light
schedule
since
the US
Open
(just
one
match in
the
Davis
Cup,
which he
lost)
and now
he's up
against
Frenchman
Gills
Simon in
R1.
As we've
said
before,
it's not
easy for
players
to come
back
after a
break
and play
their
best
right
from the
get-go,
hence
Gilles
Simon
(9/10)
is the
logical
choice
as he's
been in
regular
action -
and won
in Metz
the
other
week.

We're back with

This week in
Beijing and
Tokyo we've got
another chance
of a decent
payday. In
fact we're
guranteed a
profit!!

Japan Open. The
Austrian has won all
four of their
previous meetings
but three were close
and Troicki retired
in the other one.
Melzer deserves to
be the favourite
here but the young
Serb isn't without a
chance of causing a
shock with Melzer's
form being a little
flat these past
couple of
months.
Tuesday 5th October
Plenty of action this week in the
Far East with World Tour 500 events
in Beijing and Tokyo.
We hope that the formbook has a
bit more relevance this week (!)
after last week's goings-on.
Several players are looking for a
bit of form before heading into next
week's Shanghai Masters.

Monday 4th October
Plenty of action this week in the Far East with
World Tour 500 events in Beijing and Tokyo.
And, with any luck, the formbook will be a
little more helpful this week with a number of
players looking for some much needed form going
into next week's Shanghai Masters.

Starting in Beijing we'd
expect Andrey Golubev (4/6) to get the
better of Albert Montanes. The Spaniard is
a clay-courter, pure and simple, and
shouldn't offer too much of a threat to a
player who recently played so well in Kuala
Lumpur. Golubev may have lost the final to
Youzhny but he's an improving talent and can
win this match.
However, flipping that
form on its head, we're going to back Ivan
Ljubicic (9/4) to beat Youzhny. The Serb
leads Youzhny 6:1 on past meetings and is a
very capable player in these conditions ...
if he's more of a veteran theses days.
Nothing for us today in
Tokyo but we'll come back to the Japan Open
later in the week.
Sunday 3rd October
Finalists this week such as Andrey Golubev and Guillermo
Garcia-Lopez confirm the fact that the events in Bangkok and
Kuala Lumpur have been rather strange affairs. Just how did
Rafael Nadal fail to convert 24 of 26 break points in his SF
yesterday?
We expect better things next week when a few more of the
big names return to the ATP Tour (Novak Djokovic, Andy
Murray, Andy Roddick and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga).
With any luck the formbook will be a little more helpful as
the past few days we've seen more than a few peculiar
results. Signs that we are slowly drawing to the end of the
season.

Saturday 2nd October
This week's two tournaments are drawing to a close in the Far East.
A week where a couple of players have featured strongly (most
notably Rafael Nadal) but a couple have rather under-performed
(Robin Soderling, Fernando Verdasco).
Next week we will see a few more of the big names return to the
ATP Tour (Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray) but Roger Federer has
decided to sit things out until the Shanghai Masters. This could be
seen as a strange choice by the world No.3 but Federer clearly feels
he can simply turn up and play well. We shall se ...

Friday 1st October
Tricky week in the Far East with some players coming back to the tour after injury or lay-offs ... one or two looking a bit 'over-cooked' for the season as well.
Next week we see a few more of the big names back in action (Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray) but Roger Federer has chosen to sit things out until the Shanghai Masters the week after. A strange choice by the world No.3(!) but Federer clearly feels he can pick up where he left off without the benefit of a run-out.

There are no match bets for us today. The play in the Far East on account of the time difference makes it difficult for the bookmakers to price up the action.
Once we've got the prices in later today for tomorrow's matches we may well send out an update via the free bets newsletter. If you're not already signed up to that list, make sure you register ... sign up here.
